Maplewood Isle is run by an elected, volunteer board and eleven resident committees. Any homeowner is welcome to help on a committee.

Periodic checks of existing mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Interfaces with the Management Company and vendors for sprinklers, fountains, electrical, gates, guardhouses, A/C, and painting.
Larger projects outside the realm of Maintenance — roads, curbs, paver/bomanite work, "bridge" work at the front gate. (Currently inactive.)
Works with landscapers and tree trimmers. Spring and fall plantings, canopy trimming, and street-tree policy enforcement.
Reviews all exterior modification requests from homeowners before work begins.
Reviews the annual budget, oversees the audit, and ensures fiscal discipline across the Association.
Manages security officer training, gate procedures, and the authorized-visitor list system.
Resident communications, the homeowner portal, the website, and email/text notification systems.
Plans community events, the holiday party, and resident gatherings throughout the year.
Greets new residents, distributes the New Owners Guide, and assists with integrating new neighbors.
Handles courtesy notices, fining process, and dispute resolution per the Association Rules.
Identifies candidates and prepares the slate for the Annual Meeting election of Directors.
Two liaison positions for cross-committee coordination and Board interface.
